Why I Love UK Top Replica Omega Watches

I am not a mono-brand collector, although sometimes it does seem that way. I have perfect Omega replica watches from all sorts of brands, but the majority are indeed from one brand — Omega.

Although I’ve touched upon the topic of Omega and its connection with my family before, I thought I would freshen up a story that I wrote a few years ago.

Why do I love Omega?

I am often asked why I only buy and wear cheap UK Omega fake watches. Well, that’s not entirely the case of course. I also own watches from other brands like Oris, Breguet, Nomos, Rolex, Hamilton, Seiko, Chronoswiss, Breitling, Swatch, G-Shock, and a bunch of other perhaps lesser-known ones. And in the past, I’ve owned IWC, Sinn, Audemars Piguet, Linde Werdelin, and others as well. But truth be told, most of my watches are Omegas. To be honest, most people that ask me about it are colleague journalists and bloggers who feel I am too focused on one brand. Readers of Fratello aren’t too concerned with it, though, given the fact we get so many emails and messages with questions about luxury replica Omega watches.

But I thought it would be a good moment to explain why I like Omega so much. Or actually, love it. I am not afraid to admit this, as I really do have a weak spot for this brand. I also feel that there is little harm in this, even being a journalist. A car magazine journalist can share his love for the Porsche 911, so why can’t I share mine for a watch brand? It also doesn’t mean I don’t like other brands or prefer certain watches from other brands over certain high quality Omega copy watches (which is the case).

It’s a family tradition

For this story, we need to go back, way back, to sometime in the 1960s in the Netherlands. It has nothing to do with the Moonwatch or the space program as such. It has to do with a bridal boutique. It’s the one below actually that was located in the east part of the Netherlands in a city called Enschede.

A bridal boutique

It was owned by my grandparents who lived nearby. Best Omega replica watches at the time were very popular in the Netherlands, perhaps it was even the number 1 brand in the 1950s and 1960s in this market. In 1967, my great-grandfather bought an Omega Constellation.

In 1969 they bought a pair of Omega watches

It was the famous model with a pie-pan dial due to the shape of an up-side-down pie-pan. My great-grandfather lived in the house next door to my grandparents and father, which was relatively common at the time. It is a no-brainer that my grandparents were influenced by the choice of my great-grandfather as in 1969 they bought a pair of Swiss movements fake Omega watches. They needed to sell the bridal boutique that is pictured above because of health reasons and bought a pair of nice watches for themselves.

Constellation on a gold bracelet

My grandfather chose a Constellation (in the picture above) and my grandmother a small self-winding ladies’ watch on a gold Milanese bracelet. Before, my grandfather was wearing a pilot’s watch that he got from a pilot from the US Army at the end of World War II (1945). The Constellation replaced that watch and unfortunately, we have no clue where the pilot watch went or is now.

My grandfather studied these things very carefully.

I can only imagine that my grandfather put a lot of research and work into choosing his Omega as he did with many other things he bought in those years. Whether it was a car, camera, or (Danish design) furniture, he studied these things very carefully. Unfortunately, I never asked him about this. Below is an image from the late 1960s or early 1970s that shows my grandfather wearing his Constellation on the original mesh bracelet.

Omega Genève with a red seconds hand

Also in 1969, my father finished high school and received a watch as a graduation gift. It was an Omega Genève with a black dial and with a red seconds hand. There were no boxes or papers as it was quite common back then to leave that stuff behind at the jeweler. My family wore these China replica Omega watches for decades. The Omega Genève from my father was on his wrist for many years and he still wears it. Below is an image of him wearing the watch during his time in the military service.

Ripping shirts

I never met my great-grandfather, but when he passed away right before I was born, his watch was left with my grandfather. Somewhere in the early 1980s my father got it, had it overhauled, and wore it on special occasions. He still does. Meanwhile, he also owns a Speedmaster “Speedy Tuesday”. He had no choice.

I have fond memories of my grandparents and I vividly remember them wearing these 2023 fake Omega watches. My grandmother with her small gold ladies’ watch and my grandfather with his Constellation on a gold bracelet. My grandfather changed the Milanese bracelet to another gold bracelet in the 1970s somewhere as these Milanese bracelets were so sharp that they ripped a number of his shirts. He exchanged it for a nice and comfortable gold bracelet with a lot of links. He wore that watch every single day until he passed away in 2011.

The watch on the Moon

In the 1980s, when I was a kid, my father told me that Omega was the brand that was used by the astronauts on the Moon. But being a kid, that didn’t really ring a bell, even though I was very interested in the Space Shuttle program as a Dutch astronaut by the name of Wubbo Ockels took part in one of the early missions (1985). My father was wearing the black dial Omega Genève but also had other watches to wear (like his pie-pan Constellation from his grandfather). I found myself wearing Casios in the 1980s and Swatch watches in the early 1990s. Although these can be seen as disposable and inexpensive Omega super clone watches online (I still have all of them by the way), I was very fond of them and had an interest in watches. One of my earliest memories is of our neighbor showing off his new Seiko watch with a moonphase indicator on the dial. I also loved all these digital watches with video games embedded and, of course, the ones with a calculator.

Constellation ’95

Then, in 1996 or so, my interest in Swiss made replica Omega watches really took off. I found myself often looking at the displays at local jewelers, and was part of the early online communities back then. Being an IT student, it was easily accessible for me. I gained interest in the Omega Constellation, as I felt it was part of my family history. Although the then-current Constellation was based on the 1982 Constellation “Manhattan” and looked very different from those 1950s and 1960s models, I did like it a lot. It was a sincere interest not influenced by people. There were no social media and no one would tell me what I should like and more importantly should not like. Call it bad taste, but I loved it and still do, to be honest. So, in 1998, when I graduated with a degree in Information Technology, I was over the moon when I received an Omega Constellation from my mother. It was a Constellation ’95 (pictured above) in bicolor, meaning stainless steel and 18K gold. I couldn’t have been happier and wore it non-stop for a few years. When I started my next study at the university, I pretty much wore this watch every day.

My first Moonwatch

This watch stayed on my wrist until 1999 when I bought my first Speedmaster Professional. It was a reference 145.012-67 (pictured above). A year later, I worked all summer at a publishing company to be able to buy a brand new Seamaster 300M 2531.80. I wore these three fake Omega watches for men pretty much all the time for the rest of my studies.

Then, in the early 2000s when I graduated and started my professional life, I found myself buying more watches. These ranged from vintage Bulova to IWC, Breitling, and Rolex — even a Dubey & Schaldenbrand. And of course, several best quality Omega replica watches.

The restoration of a vintage Constellation

I am sure you are familiar with the Patek Philippe advertisement that says that you don’t own a Patek Philippe, but that you’re merely looking after it for the next generation. When my grandfather passed away, I inherited his Omega Constellation. I am convinced he enjoyed wearing that watch for the 42 years he did. I sometimes wear it, especially at Christmas. But it actually took me a few years before I started wearing it. The dial was in pretty bad condition since some watchmaker had tried to clean it or something. The printed letters were all over the place, and it had severe damage. My grandfather probably never noticed this, due to his old eyes. I asked Omega and they had a couple of dials in stock still and offered me one to use.

It actually took me a few years before I started wearing it.

But there was none with a similar dial. The colors were slightly different. I found it quite amazing, though, that they offered me this, and I wonder what other big watch brands would go this far. I declined, and they helped me source a watch with a similar dial, so I bought it and used that dial as a donor. But that did not feel the same. It suddenly wasn’t my grandfather’s Constellation anymore.

So I switched back and put it in the safe. When discussing this at some point with our Fratello watchmaker Paul, he said, “Why don’t you just have it restored? Perhaps it won’t be original anymore that way, but at least it is his dial, and you can enjoy wearing it again.” I thought about it and decided to go this route. So I gave the Constellation to Paul and he gave it a full service. The dial went to this firm in Germany, where they are very good at restoring dials. A few months later, the watch returned in all of its glory. It is like it was in 1969, hence the different gold bracelets and some battle scars from the 42 years of daily use. I cherish this watch a lot and, as written above, give it some time on the wrist during Christmas days.

…the watch returned in all of its glory. It is like it was in 1969.

I don’t wear it more often, because I am too afraid that something will happen to it. If it ever would get lost or stolen, I wouldn’t forgive myself.

Constellation Globemaster

In 2015, though, something strange happened. Omega introduced their 1:1 replica Omega Constellation Globemaster series watches. A beautiful 39mm watch that has influences from the 1950s Constellations with its pie-pan dial but also comes with modern innovations such as the in-house developed Master Chronometer movements. In October of that year, I asked Omega to send me the Sedna Gold version for review. They shipped a prototype to my office in The Hague. After staring at this beautiful 18K rose gold watch for a few moments with a brown alligator strap and a rose gold folding buckle, I put it on my wrist. I felt a sensation that I’d never experienced before when putting on a watch.

There was never a watch that gave me that sensation before.

It wasn’t the sensation of just putting on a watch that is very pretty or nice. No, this was much deeper. It is hard to describe the emotion I felt, but in essence, I felt a deep connection to my grandfather and his watch. I thought, “This is how my grandfather must have felt when he bought that Constellation on February 6th, 1969, and put it on his wrist.” That thought did not let me go. I wore the watch for two weeks or so, and with pain in my heart, I sent it back (not in the last place because it was a prototype). There was never a watch that gave me that sensation before. Not my gold AAA fake Omega Speedmaster Professional watches, not any of the other watches I’ve ever tried, whatever make and model. I could not get this watch out of my head, but at €18,000 at the time (€26,700 now), I had to.

Speedy Tuesday

Life went on, of course, and back to business as usual. 2017 and 2018 were important years for Fratello, and the introduction of the Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday “Tribute to Alaska III” and “Ultraman,” of which we were a huge part, only made Omega’s presence bigger in our online magazine. So be it. I am pretty sure my grandparents look down with a bit of pride in what we established with “their” brand. Our readers — you — also seem to enjoy the Omega coverage that we do at least every week. With all that happened, whether that was the Speedy Tuesday limited editions or any of the other Omega replica watches site I bought personally or received for reviews, the Globemaster still held a special place in my mind. The steel one I tried, but that was not for me. In my opinion – but this is very personal, as you can read – it should have at least a touch of gold.

Sedna Gold Globemaster

Then, a few weeks before my 40th birthday, it was there. The Omega Constellation Globemaster in Sedna Gold. Out of the box, on my wrist, and yes, the same sensation appeared. Every time I put it on my wrist, there is this spark of magic. I wear the Globemaster a lot, and although some people consider this watch to be a dress watch, I wear it whenever and however I want to. I see the amazement in people’s eyes when I turn up wearing this watch, as they expected something different, I guess. But I rarely tell this story.

Four generations with Constellations

It is a perfect timekeeper and is packed with interesting innovations, as it has the Master Chronometer certification, combined with its beautiful design and finish.  These are all perfect reasons to buy one. But in this case, I don’t care much about that: this particular Constellation Globemaster is about me and my family: as personal as it gets. Four generations with Constellations – with Omegas. Below is my Constellation Globemaster placed on a photo of me as a child at my grandparent’s house, probably around 1983.

The brand is deeply rooted in my family, which explains the number of fake Omega watches for sale in my (still modest) collection. This doesn’t mean I don’t like any other brands, don’t buy any other brands (which I still do as well), or even think everything Omega does is the best or all fantastic. This brand just holds a special place with me and now you know why.

1:1 UK Best Omega Swatch MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold Strawberry Moon Of June Fake Watches

It’s been only three or so months that Swatch introduced the Moonshine Gold Edition of its Moonswatch with such enigmatic details as, “This special seconds hand has been produced exclusively during the full moon of February, as stated in the certificate that comes with the watch.” That piece we analyzed in detail here, and it is already followed by the perfect replica Omega Swatch MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold Strawberry Moon Of June watches reference S033M102-107 that has its very own, ahem, quirks that go well beyond featuring the word “Moon” a record-setting three times.

Although apparently not rushed by too many external forces, Swatch continues to have its struggles when it comes to orchestrating the premiere of luxury UK fake Omega MoonSwatch watches. The original debut in March 2022 caused quite a stir when the affordable Swatch brand launched an extensive collection based on the name, design, and style of luxury iconic top Omega Speedmaster replica watches— it was a shambles, well-documented in our launch day on-location report: Queueing For Uranus: Omega Swatch MoonSwatch Watch Review here. In a nutshell, tens of thousands of Swatch fans queued pointlessly around the world and were offered little communication and no comfortable alternatives to source their own piece. The subsequent high quality copy Omega MoonsWatch Moonshine Gold Edition of March watches, 2023 (on which this Strawberry Edition is based) was defined by teasers that have, in hindsight, over-delivered when it came to building hype, followed by a new model that offered a rather simple twist on a known design. It was a Moonshine Gold coated seconds hand over the MoonSwatch Mission To The Moon edition.

Swatch claims that the inspiration for this Swiss movements Omega replica watches was to serve as a nod to the Strawberry Moon of June, a nickname to the full moon of June. According to NASA, “The Maine Farmers’ Almanac began publishing Indian names for full Moons in the 1930s, and these names are now widely known and used. According to this almanac, as the full Moon in June the Algonquin tribes of what is now the northeastern United States called this the Strawberry Moon. The name comes from the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries in the northeastern United States.” This leads us to another questionable launch strategy.

On this occasion, Swatch timed the launch of the Swatch MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold Strawberry Moon Of June… in July. Specifically, the 3rd of July, 2023, which is indeed a full moon, just not the Strawberry Moon, because that, according to NASA and the very name of the “Strawberry Moon of June,” occurred a month earlier, on the 3rd of June. Oh, well. According to the certificate that comes with the AAA Omega fake watches (pictured just below), Swatch claims that “The OMEGA Moonshine™ Gold seconds hand of this Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission To The Moon was produced during the Strawberry Moon of June 2023” which would explain the name. That said, as was the case in March with the previous Moonshine gold handed Omega super clone watches for sale where Swatch claimed to have made the hand over a single night, it is difficult not to find this statement confusing. Either Swatch has truly only spent a few hours making these hands, hence arbitrarily limiting the supply on a collection that had already frustrated fans with limited availability, or it is just a whimsical statement which arguably adds very little to the overall enjoyment and appreciation of the product.

On the plus side, the 2023 replica Omega Swatch MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold Strawberry watches (or Swatch MoonSwatch Strawberry, for short) delivers the next chapter in what Swatch strangely calls “Mission To MoonShine Gold” and does so with a playful twist (the strawberry print) that is much more characteristic of Swatch because it is lighthearted and fun — not something that could be said about many of the pieces in the original MoonSwatch collection that have often been criticized for too closely mimicking the luxury versions. The fun comes to a halt once metallurgy gets involve, but we’ll include this anyway: Moonshine gold is a special 18k gold alloy that was previously used on a select few Omega fake watches for men. It is 75% gold (because it is 18k gold), and the rest of the alloy is 14.5% silver, about 9% copper, and 1% palladium. Before you get your hopes up, all these fancy materials are spread just a few microns thin over the chronograph seconds hand of the new Swatch MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold Strawberry Moon Of June watch.

While Swatch has introduced the new cheap replica Omega Swatch MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold Strawberry Moon Of June watches on its official Instagram channel, the piece cannot be found anywhere else. It is not yet on the official Swatch website, nor the press site of the brand or its owner, the Swatch Group. Thankfully, it appears to be a rather straightforward launch: The case clearly remains the 42mm-wide, 13.25mm-thick gray BioCeramic as on the previous MoonShine gold edition and the MoonSwatch Mission To The Moon on which they are based, and the movement is, of course, a quartz caliber (you can change the battery). The price will likely remain unchanged.

The online wholesale replica Omega Swatch MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold Strawberry Moon Of June watches is priced at $300.

Luxury UK Omega Speedmaster Fake Watches Mysteries Unraveled! What Have We Learned During The Past Decade?

Are you about to get sucked into one of those shows about a lost artifact? Will it be an episode that plods on until the last minute to inform you that the lost city of “X” still hasn’t been found? Of course not! This is Speedy Tuesday, after all, and we’re here for you. Today, though, we thought we’d recap some of the Swiss made replica Omega Speedmaster watches mysteries that have been solved since the beginning of this series. (A special thanks to teammate Lex for his participation in our cover shot — he looks as though he’s unfurling the Dead Sea Scrolls!)

Balazs and I were recently podcasting, and we commented about the UK cheap fake Omega Speedmaster watches mysteries that have been solved since Speedy Tuesday first came to light in 2012. We then received a comment about this and decided to write about some of the facts that have surfaced over the past decade. For sure, there’s still plenty to learn, so the “gumshoeing” will continue!

Speedy Tuesday at a glance

Our podcast listener wasn’t necessarily asking solely about uncovered Speedmaster mysteries. The comment referred to how perfect Omega Speedmaster replica watches lore has been documented since 2012. For certain, week in and week out, this column serves as a reference point for all topics related to one of the coolest chronographs in the galaxy. Yes, this column does support yet another query we addressed on a recent podcast about whether Speedy fans are the most fanatical in the watch world. Like it or not, we’ve covered the Speedy exhaustively and will continue to do so. Along the way, some rather interesting details have come to light.

The Moonwatch contenders and the real McCoy

One of my favorite resolved Speedmaster mysteries involves the Speedy and some Speedy-adjacent news. Until January 2019 in Biel/Bienne, most felt that the lyre-lugged Speedmasters were the first intended Moonwatches. In actuality, the top Omega copy watches that passed the initial NASA tests was none other than the 105.003 (RJ has penned an incredibly concise story on how this occurred). The 105.012 and 145.012 models came later.

Also, the true identity of the other NASA-tested wristwatches was not public knowledge. We knew that a Rolex and a Wittnauer were in the hunt, but the exact models were a guess. While I don’t recall much speculation about the tested Rolex reference, the Wittnauer was often a topic of discussion. Collectors assumed that NASA tried the spacey reference 242T perhaps because of its all-black dial. However, it was actually the white-dialed 235T that attempted and failed to make it to a spacesuit. For good measure, we also learned that a Rolex 6238 “Pre-Daytona” also got a (moon)shot.

The gold BA345.0802 was limited to 300 pieces

In 2014, RJ met astronaut Thomas Stafford and had the opportunity to photograph his gold BA345.0802. This was a curious watch because it debuted in 1980 as an Apollo 11 commemorative edition. That’s 11 years after the Moon landing, which is an odd birthday. It turns out that it was also a celebration of Omega’s caliber 861 gaining NASA certification for use in the Space Shuttle program. Nearly 10 years ago, many believed the production run to be around 300 units. By 2019, this exact number was confirmed. This is one of those 1:1 replica Omega Speedmaster watches mysteries that hinges upon a small detail, but that’s why we love watches. Oh, and Omega also produced a white gold variant in a truly rare quantity of 20 pieces.

The First Omega in Space (FOiS) uses a new case

The discontinued First Omega in Space is one of the more popular modern AAA China Omega Speedmaster super clone watches. Fittingly, the watch debuted at Basel in 2012 for the 50th anniversary of Wally Schirra’s Mercury-Atlas 8 mission. This was an important mission because — you guessed it — Schirra wore his very own Speedmaster CK2998, and it became the first Omega in space. These numbered but not limited watches were beloved during their eight-year production run. Despite the use of a sapphire crystal, the “FOiS” features many vintage touches.

The key detail that fans loved was the use and return of a smaller 39.7mm case with straight lugs. This alone was enough to cause excitement, but many fans didn’t stop to realize that Swiss movements Omega replica watches wasn’t offering a 1:1 copy of Schirra’s CK2998. The lugs have bevels or chamfers, and unless they’ve been added to a vintage reference by an overzealous restorer, they’re not “correct.” Does that detract from the FOiS? Not at all, but it’s certainly worth mentioning!

The Apollo-Soyuz quantity confirmed

Back in 2016, RJ wrote about the reference 145.022 Apollo-Soyuz commemorative model that was produced in 1976. Omega produced this curious piece on behalf of Italian distributor De Marchi, and the run supposedly consisted of 500 pieces. However, there was rampant speculation that only 400 pieces saw the light of day. That may not seem like a huge difference, but these fake Omega watches for sale now easily crest €50K at auction, so facts are important. By 2022, though, RJ had spoken to enough experts, and the number of Apollo-Soyuz models now stands at 500. Per this article, confirmation of the larger run still didn’t hurt auction results. Perhaps it’s because this model is one of the earliest limited-edition Speedmasters. It also represents peace and happens to be quite attractive! Here again, this is one of those Speedmaster mysteries that is all about the details.

The Speedmaster X-33 (still) has real space chops

The Speedmaster X-33 debuted in 1998, and this watch was not some nod to modern trends around digital watches. No, the X-33 was tailor-made for space use, and astronaut Thomas Stafford was involved in its development. It had a titanium case and provided analog as well as digital information — local time, a perpetual calendar, a programmable alarm, a mission timer, a mission alarm, universal time (GMT), a universal alarm, a countdown timer (with alarm), and a chronograph. In other words, this wasn’t your astronaut grandfather’s high quality Omega Speedmaster replica watches!

It was certified for use by NASA on shuttle missions but was replaced in 2001 by the second-generation X-33. This watch contained some improvements that you can read about here, which also led to its NASA qualification. NASA still uses it for missions even though it was discontinued in 2010! What’s more, the third-generation X-33 Skywalker is the official equipment of all astronauts and cosmonauts who leave Earth via Russia. Perhaps knowledge about the X-33 doesn’t qualify as one of the Speedmaster mysteries, but I’d guess that few know that these fake Omega watches wholesale actually see action as official equipment.

Speedmaster mysteries still go unsolved

Has the watch community (or even Omega) solved all of the Speedmaster mysteries that exist? Of course not, and there are two topics that we (and countless others)would love to obtain answers on. First (and this would make international news) is the whereabouts of Buzz Aldrin’s Moonwatch from the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Apparently, Aldrin sent the replica Omega watches shop to the Smithsonian after the mission, and it was lost on the way. This is, arguably, the most important wristwatch in history, and no one knows where it is. Is Elvis roaming around with it somewhere in Montana?

The second mystery is far more nerdy and would definitely not make international news. However, it would end a lot of speculation from Speedy collectors. Simply put, we want to know how many Speedmaster “Tintins” are floating around within Earth’s orbit! This quiet release from 2013 took a long time to catch on with collectors, but it has achieved a cult-like status. If you read my 2016 article on this watch, note the statistical approach that one person took when trying to unlock the true number of Tintins. Fun stuff!

Only the beginning

If you’re a dyed-in-the-wool Speedy fan, today’s article wasn’t news. However, we have new Swiss top fake Omega Speedmaster watches admirers joining the fray every single day, and this can hopefully serve as a small primer on some of the information that has come to light since 2012. It may even inspire some to start detective work of their own to help the cause. After all, there’s always something to learn.

How To Customise Your Best Quality Omega MoonSwatch Replica Watches UK: Colours, Straps, And More

So you finally got your hands on the coveted top replica Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch watches. Congratulations! You either paid a lot of money on the secondhand market or you waited really long in line. Perhaps, you even flew abroad to much easier get your hands on this precious timepiece. No matter how you got there, we aren’t here to judge. We’re here to help. Customising your MoonSwatch is just about the hottest thing you can do since actually acquiring your MoonSwatch. Here’s how.

There’s nothing quite like adding your own personal touch to a timepiece. Maybe you pair your high quality Omega fake watches with a cute beaded bracelet to off-set your serious office look, or maybe you added a few diamonds to the dial to up the glam for your next evening gala. Customisation is the cherry on top of owning a watch, and the cherry becomes even sweeter when it comes to a highly coveted timepiece.

Of course, the MoonSwatch isn’t your regular highly coveted timepiece. Launched last year, it is not a limited edition series, though it is sold only in limited amounts in select stores during certain periods. It was birthed through the collaboration of two of watchmaking’s greatest, perfect Omega replica watches and Swatch, who both normally play in very different fields of casual and luxury watchmaking.

Nevertheless, the collaboration was an instant hit. Even in Bangkok, queues outside Central World went around the block, as everyone wanted a piece of the space-inspired MoonSwatch. 11 unique cheap Omega copy watches make up the Bioceramic MoonSwatch Collection, with a special ‘Mission to Moonshine Gold’ edition launched in just a few countries. Designed to “reach for the planets” and inspired by various “missions” to the sun, the moon, and all of the planets in the solar system, it is a colourful collection that ranges from bright blues, yellows, and pinks, over to the very popular blacks, browns, and grey colour ways.

Yet selecting your chosen edition and bringing it home is only where the fun begins. Read on for how to give your MoonSwatch that extra pizzaz through customisation of straps and an interplay of colours, materials, and more.

How to customise your MoonSwatch like a pro

It starts with colour

The first step to finding the right MoonSwatch for your fit is working with colour. The 1:1 replica Omega MoonSwatch collection watches offers plenty of room to play, as it is already available in 11 different colour ways. This is where you need to ask yourself the big questions: Will you accessorise with contrasting or complementary colours? Do you want to play it safe or surf along the edge of madness? Will you go for monotone or pattern prints?

Play it safe with monotone

Experimenting with colour can add a fresh mood and tone to your timepiece. One of the most popular editions is the black ‘Mission to the Moon’ MoonSwatch, which is often customised with a suave black strap. This adds an elevated aura to the UK AAA Omega fake watches, compared to its original velcro strap, which can feel a little bulky.

In fact, taking the colour of the dial and applying it to the strap is a popular way to incorporate a sense of unity in your customisation. If you want to take things a little further, use the same tone as the chronograph display, as seen on the beautiful ‘Mission to Pluto’ MoonSwatch customisation below. The Bordeaux red chronograph is paired with a hatch grain Bordeaux red strap for a very chic new feel.

Get creative with contrast

Use the colour wheel to your advantage and experiment with colour blocking, and using contrasting colours for a bit of fun. The model below is the ‘Mission to Venus,’ which has been customised with a green fabric strap for a bold contrast and a youthful interplay with the pastel pink of the original case.

Dabble in prints

Perhaps you’re not quite ready to make a contrasting colour leap, or perhaps you want to get wacky with the leap you’ve already made. If you really dare, go for colourful prints or patterns on your strap and really stand out from the crowd. The ‘Mission to Uranus’ below is complemented by a rubber blue cameo strap for a touch of personality that seems to go well with pancakes.

If loud prints aren’t your thing, you can still get away with a touch of colour through subtle stripes. Below, the best super clone Omega ‘Mission to Uranus’ MoonSwatch watches is customised with a fabric strap and a touch of bright orange. Simple, yet so effective, and wildly different in personality to the one above. See how fun this is?

Fabric, rubber, or leather?

Beyond the details in the dial, it is often the strap that provides the tell-tale for what kind of watch you’re wearing, or what kind of wearer the watch inhabits. Rubber straps are commonly used for dive luxury Omega replica watches, whilst leather straps are most commonly used for dress watches. Fabric falls into a fashionable in-between.

The MoonSwatch boasts a relatively large case with a 42mm diameter, making it easy to pair with any of these materials. Whilst the original velcro strap is sporty, it does feel a bit stiff, and wearers often change the strap for both comfort and customisation for a more balanced wrist look and feel.

Fabric doesn’t mean you’re soft

Fabric straps are extremely versatile, as there are so many fabrics to choose from, and so many ways the fabric can be manipulated. The ‘Mission to Mercury’ edition above is contrasted by a light brown/green leather strap, and conveys a sense of adventure.

Rubber rules

Normally, only James Bond wears a dive watch with a suit, so rubber straps for everyday use are best reserved for secret agents. However, in the case of the 2023 fake Omega MoonSwatch watches, rubber straps seem to be the most popular.

Again, there is plenty of versatility with rubber, and it is the most fun material for experimenting with colour. The above ‘Mission to the Moon’ immediately stands out on the wrist with its daring red rubber strap, adding plenty of drama to your look.

There are also so many different types of rubber. Perlon, a type of nylon, is a beautiful way to incorporate rubber in a lesser obvious way. Below, the ‘Mission to the Sun’ edition catches a few extra rays with a strap suited to everyday wear.

Leather for the long run

Leather is applauded for its durability, and also for being one of the most classic types of wholesale Omega replica watches straps. There is something extremely timeless about a leather strap, and something extremely nostalgic, too. Whilst it is more difficult to care for than rubber, adding a leather strap to your MoonSwatch will give it an air of sophistication.

The ‘Mission to Earth’ below sees a turquoise gaucho strap that beautifully complements the dark dial of the timepiece for a handsome look and feel.

Again, don’t be afraid to experiment with the different kinds of leather. If you want to keep things classic in colour, you can still play around with texture. Below, the ‘Mission to Jupiter’ boasts an ecru croco strap for a sense of jungle mystery — that still very much works in the city.

Where to shop MoonSwatch straps

There are many international online stores where you can order watch straps for your MoonSwatch.

Horus Watch Straps has an entire dedicated page to MoonSwatch straps, available in a huge range of colours (and patterns!), all in rubber. Meanwhile, Delugs also includes leather options, and suggested colour pairings for the uninitiated. Several of the examples featured in this piece hail from Jakarta-based Etsy store, Seventh Creation. The biggest variety of straps come from Australia-based Strapify, with over 800 straps to choose from, and a huge selection of materials.

If you’re looking to keep it local, Bangkok offers plenty of China Omega fake watches straps in the leather department. Just check in with your local leather dealer, and be sure to opt for a 20mm strap width for the best pairing.
